Classes & Tastings at Sip

We'll be blind tasting several wines and it is your team's job to make the correct guesses to earn points.  Team with the most points at the end of the night gets a special prize! Teams of 3 or 4. Teams must book all together.

Sometimes the winds don't blow your way, or, in this case, the wine critics of the world just couldn't get up the gumption to award ONE MORE POINT! Seriously? Can you tell the difference in quality of one point?  Well, here's your chance.  Prepare your palates for disappointment, failure, and the swill that is: 99 POINT WINES.

Coming off of the resounding success and demand of our Classic Novels As Wine Class over the summer, everyone was dying to sign up for a Gothic-themed literature as wine follow-up.  We'll make the arrangements for wines that mirror the text, novel, poem, or essay that are eerie-sistible. Let's east, drink, and be scary! 

In old parlance, it would be differentiated as Old World vs. New World, but here, in this class, were going to put same grapes, same wine styles, up against each other and you can decide what you like better: European wines or wines from the rest of the world.  The ultimate showdown.  Either way, you win (because you'll taste a bunch of wines)!

Just like the holiday itself, this class is becoming something of an annual tradition.  A class to discuss and taste different types of wines with traditional Thanksgiving fare, this class is a must-attend if you are looking to understand the nuance of food and wine pairings as well as pick up some wines for your meal next week!
